Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the CRT Agency website and the information, enquiry facilities and services made available through it.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, you should discontinue use of the website.

1. About CRT Agency

CRT Agency is a South African commercial development, procurement and supply business operating under South Easter Group.

CRT provides procurement, project supply and related commercial services, primarily to businesses and organisations within South Africa.

References in these Terms to “CRT”, “CRT Agency”, “we”, “us” or “our” refer to CRT Agency and, where applicable, the legal entity through which CRT Agency operates.

2. Purpose of This Website

This website provides general information about CRT Agency, the industries we serve, products we may be able to supply, our procurement capabilities and ways to contact or submit requirements to us.

The website is not an online store and products displayed on the website do not constitute guaranteed stock availability or an automatic offer for sale.

Products, brands, specifications and categories shown on this website are examples of products CRT may supply and do not represent a complete or permanently available catalogue.

3. Requests for Quotations

Visitors may contact CRT or submit requests for quotations, specifications, Bills of Quantities, product lists or other project information.

Submitting an enquiry or quotation request does not create a binding agreement between CRT and the person or organisation submitting it.

A transaction will only proceed once the relevant commercial terms have been agreed and, where applicable, a CRT quotation, purchase order, invoice or other written agreement has been accepted.

Quotations may be subject to:

  • Product availability

  • Supplier availability

  • Lead times

  • Minimum order quantities

  • Exchange-rate movements

  • Freight and logistics costs

  • Import duties and taxes where applicable

  • Specification confirmation

  • Manufacturer or supplier price changes

  • Payment terms

  • Delivery requirements

  • Other project-specific conditions

The specific terms stated on a CRT quotation or written commercial agreement will take precedence over conflicting general information displayed on this website.

4. Product Information

CRT takes reasonable steps to provide accurate product and service information.

However, product images, descriptions, dimensions, specifications, availability and other information displayed on the website may be illustrative, supplied by third parties or subject to change.

Clients are responsible for reviewing and confirming that quoted products and specifications are suitable for their intended application before placing an order.

Where technical suitability is material to a project, CRT may request additional specifications, drawings, samples or other information before quoting.

5. Local and International Procurement

CRT primarily procures through South African manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and specialist suppliers.

Where commercially appropriate, CRT may also procure products from international manufacturers or supply partners.

International procurement may be subject to minimum order quantities, longer lead times, freight costs, exchange-rate movements, customs requirements and other conditions outside CRT's direct control.

CRT does not provide consumer parcel-forwarding services and does not undertake small international sourcing requests where the commercial or logistical requirements do not justify direct procurement.

6. Supply and Delivery

CRT supplies customers throughout South Africa using a combination of supplier-direct delivery, courier networks, freight providers and other logistics partners.

CRT does not necessarily physically transport or deliver products itself.

Delivery dates and lead times are estimates unless specifically confirmed otherwise in writing.

CRT will take reasonable steps to coordinate fulfilment but cannot guarantee delays will not occur due to suppliers, couriers, freight providers, customs processes, manufacturers, force majeure events or other factors outside CRT's reasonable control.

For larger or more complex projects, additional delivery or project coordination may be arranged.

7. Installation and Contractors

CRT's primary role is procurement and supply.

Where requested, CRT may introduce or coordinate independent contractors who provide installation or related services.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, such contractors are independent service providers and are responsible for their own workmanship, licensing, insurance and compliance obligations.

8. Pricing

Prices displayed or discussed prior to a formal quotation are indicative only unless expressly stated otherwise.

Formal quotations may include applicable VAT and other charges as specified in the quotation.

CRT reserves the right to revise or withdraw a quotation where circumstances materially affecting cost or availability change before acceptance.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the website, branding, design, text, graphics, photographs, logos and other original content are owned by or licensed to CRT Agency or South Easter Group.

No website content may be reproduced, republished, distributed, modified or used commercially without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

Product names, trademarks, logos and images belonging to manufacturers or third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

This website may contain links to third-party websites, services or businesses, including South Easter Agency and other commercial partners.

CRT does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices or terms of use.
